Spring/Summer 2019
Our Spring and Summer programme will include Fauré's Requiem (using the authentic Urtext edition) complemented by other pieces by French and European composers
Saturday 18th May - St Mary's Totnes (£10)
Saturday 8th June - All Saints Church, Malborough 7:30 pm (£12)
Saturday 15th June - Buckfast Abbey 7:30 pm (£10)
We are delighted that we will be accompanied on the organ at each concert by Ian Curror. Now living in South Devon, Ian was Organist and Director of Music at the Chapel of the Royal Hospital Chelsea for 37 years and has been awarded Honorary Life Membership of the Royal College of Organists.
At Malborough, we will also be joined by the Divertimento Quintet, who are a highly acclaimed ensemble of local professional musicians who we have enjoyed preforming with at previous concerts.
We try to keep our admission prices as reasonable as possible whilst still covering our costs and making a donation to our chosen charity. At each concert we are happy to welcome under 18's free of charge and will consider other concessions in cases of hardship.
