The choir was formed in 1985 as a chamber choir, based in Kingsbridge and gathering members from around the South Hams. We enjoy singing a wide range of sacred and secular choral music, rehearsing every Wednesday at 7.00 p.m. during term time, in The Methodist Church, Kingsbridge. We usually arrange a number of concerts locally throughout the year.
Our first concert of the year - 'SERENADE' - in All Saint's Church, Thurlestone - was a great success, with a large and appreciative audience - thank you to everyone who supported us.
We have recently begun work with our new Musical Director Robin Stubbs, and are looking forward to a small Kingsbridge-based concert on Saturday 3rd October, along with our usual Christmas Concert in St. Edmund's Church, Kingsbridge on Wednesday 16th December 2026 - and we have exciting plans for 2027!
We are currently looking to recruit singers for our Tenor and Bass sections, though our Soprano and Alto sections are full.
